Portrait of two brothers and two sisters from a story by myself and Nick Sommer called ‘Thrash or Die.’
Made this poster based on the same story.
The End of the World Party (zombie-comedy short film)
I directed a fun little zombie-comedy short film called “The End of the World Party.” Starring Nick Sommer and WC Tank on a blustery Halloween day at Grant Park in South Milwaukee.
Doing ADR with actor/co-writer/costumer Nick Sommer on a beautiful fall day (recording zombie voices and re-recording a couple of Nick’s lines — 15-30mph of wind on the day we shot).
A short video and photos of the beautiful sunrise overlooking Lake Michigan before the shoot.
Grant Park is an incredibly gorgeous park that I don’t visit enough. A visit there in late August got me thinking about shooting a film there.
Especially this photo:

an autumn BONFIRE
Beautiful early autumn night for a bonfire with some friends…
Me looking at Josh behind the camera.
Me (camera right) with friends. Photo taken by Josh Narvett.
Josh either helping stoke the fire, or getting ready to kill someone… Either way, he’s having a good time.
Awwwww, Big Baby Josh got some smoke in his eyes…
Josh has cleaned out his eyes and forgotten about his murder plans…
Some men just want to watch the world burn…
“Thrash or Die” Concept Stills with Nick Sommer
Our goal was to shoot during blue hour/moon set of the Super Full Perigee Moon to try to get a real-life version of a 90’s large/low comic-book-style moon. But because half the sky was filled with clouds, the moon was blocked. So I shot at the sunset, which brought out even more beautiful and vibrant colors than other sunsets.
The shoot was for some concept stills of a project skater/actor/filmmaker Nick Sommer and I are looking at doing possibly.
