Trip to Texas!
Traveled to Texas for photo and video work and took some travel shots along the way.
Arrived obnoxiously early to Milwaukee’s General Mitchell Airport, but got this shot of a near empty gate.
Waiting to take off from General Mitchell in Milwaukee to Dallas/Fort Worth.
24,000 feet (according to pilot) over USA, about 2/3 of the way to Texas from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Beautiful night in Weatherford, Texas.

Traveling to the next location in Texas. Texas is the most obviously spied on state for a person to be. Check out all the cameras on the crossbeam.

Ultra-Wide Lens Tests
Testing out new ultra-wide lens (Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 AE) and travel-tripod.
Frozen Marina – 5D3 RAW Video and Stills
Wasn’t painfully cold out, so I stopped being a sissy and took some Marina 5d3 RAW video and stills at Mckinley Marina in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
RAW video colored in DaVinci Resolve and FCPX and edited in FCPX. Stills processed in Lightroom.
The stills shot without a hiccup, but with the camera temperature one degree Fahrenheit below what Canon says the 5D3 will function at (for a job I would have wrapped the camera in fabric to keep it warm), shooting RAW video led to a couple hiccups. Still got some great shots during the colorful sunset though.
